Aspekte der Steuerung in kaum steuerbaren Organisationssystemen
Zusammenfassung
Sozialwirtschaftliche Unternehmen sind Organisationssysteme, die betriebswirtschaftlich gesteuert werden müssen. Als soziale Systeme können sie allerdings von außen nicht mit einer bestimmten Absicht gesteuert werden. Dies stellt für Sozialmanager:innen, die als Leitungskräfte im Feld der Sozialen Arbeit tätig sind, ein großes Dilemma dar. Zita Maria Müller charakterisiert systemisches Controlling und untersucht die Chancen und Grenzen von Controlling als systemische Steuerungspraxis. In Anlehnung an Luhmanns Systemtheorie hinterfragt die Autorin die klassischen Controllingfunktionen und eröffnet neue Aspekte für eine anschlussfähige Kommunikation zwischen Leitungskräften und Controller:innen in Sozialdienstleistungsorganisationen.
Abstract
Social economy enterprises are organisational systems that have to be managed from a business perspective. As social systems, however, they cannot be controlled from the outside with a specific intention. This poses a major dilemma for social managers working in the field of social work. In this book, Zita Maria Müller characterises systemic controlling and examines both the limits of controlling as a systemic management practice along with the opportunities it offers. Following Luhmann's systems theory, the author analyses classical controlling functions and opens up new opportunities for compatible communication between managers and controllers in social service organisations.
